Welcome! I am so glad you are here. I can show you how to have fun learning to sing and play the piano. Fundamentals of music theory are a key piece of my teaching and will strengthen your skills as a musician regardless of your musical goals. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing and singing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. If you already have some experience, I can help you hone your technique and reach your personal musical goals while learning a wide variety of repertoire to strengthen your current skills.

I have been singing and playing the piano since the age of 5. Music is my passion and nothing excites me more than sharing that with my students! A conservatory trained pianist with advanced degrees in piano performance, voice and music education, I am a fun, experienced and patient teacher who is ready to help you reach your musical goal

After teaching choir, general music, musical theater and piano at a private school in Greenwich CT for 33 years, my family and I recently moved to Old Saybrook with our rescue cats, Simon and Hera, who love listening to music and meowing along!

At the center of my teaching is the notion that every student is unique and has individual goals for learning music, and that there is no 'one size fits all approach.' If you're unsure about which level is appropriate for you as a singer or pianist, I offer placement tests to help ensure you will progress at a pace that is best for you!
